ARI appoints Adrian Bradshaw GM of joint venture with Abu Dhabi Duty Free
ARI has announced the appointment of Adrian Bradshaw as General Manager, Travel Retail Sales and Services (TRSS).
TRSS is the joint venture company between ARI Middle East (ARIME), and local partners that will operate the perfume, cosmetics, jewelry, and sunglasses categories at Terminal A, Abu Dhabi Airport.
Bradshaw has an extensive background in travel retail, most recently from his role as General Manager, Beirut Duty Free, where he has been instrumental in driving growth in the first-class retail operations in that region. Before that and also within the ARI estate, he held the role of Senior Vice President at Qatar Distribution Company. Prior to joining ARI in 2016, Bradshaw held various senior roles with renowned retailers like Alshaya Group and Marks & Spencer.
“I am delighted to announce this news. Adrian, a seasoned travel retail leader, will bring extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise to our new business in Abu Dhabi,” said Rob Marriott, CEO of ARIME. “On behalf of myself and the rest of the ARI executive team, we extend our best wishes to Adrian, as he embarks on this new role, confident in the great heights he will help us achieve”.
Speaking of the appointment, Adrian Bradshaw said, “It’s an absolute privilege to take on this position as General Manager of ARI’s newest operation in Abu Dhabi at such a pivotal time for the business. I look forward to immersing myself in this exciting new venture, and unlocking the huge potential that awaits. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my exceptional team in Lebanon. Their dedication and brilliance have been instrumental in our shared successes over the last number of years”.
Bradshaw is set to assume his new role later this year, joining the highly experienced Philip Eckles, who assumed the position of Implementation General Manager earlier in 2023.
