Fwu Wren Loh has been appointed as General Manager, Aer Rianta International (ARI), Auckland.

Joining ARI Auckland in 2018 as Head of Finance, as well as a member of its Board of Directors, Fwu Wren Loh has a proven track record of success. Following the departure of Thomas Byrne earlier this year, Fwu Wren will take on his role as General Manager effective immediately.

Fwu Wren has extensive experience and knowledge in strategic planning, commercial finance, operations, marketing, sales and health and safety, all of which will be invaluable for his new role. Prior to joining ARI, Fwu Wren held senior leadership roles with some of New Zealand’s most iconic organizations.

“I congratulate Fwu Wren on his promotion to General Manager. Fwu Wren brings significant commercial expertise to the role and has a strong track record in driving growth. I look forward to working closely with Fwu Wren, and the wider leadership team, as we manage the impact of COVID-19 and drive the future growth of our Auckland business,” says Nuno do Amaral, Chief Operations and Business Development Officer, ARI.

“I am delighted to be appointed as General Manager of ARI Auckland. I am fortunate to have a strong team here in Auckland and while it’s been a challenging year and a half, we are now well positioned to take advantage of any opportunities that come our way, as the industry recovers from the impact of COVID-19.

I look forward to leading the team and working collaboratively with Auckland International Airport to deliver the best duty free shopping experience to our customers. We have good strategic plans in place for the business and I am excited to be able to make these plans a reality,” comments Fwu Wren.
