Jiu Asia to showcase Asian spirits in Singapore this September

Jiu Asia, Singapore’s original Asian alcohol expo, is set to return for its second year from September 6-8, 2024 at Resorts World Sentosa’s Equarius Hotel. Organized by VMSD Pte Ltd, the three-day event will feature over 100 Asian and select international brands, offering attendees the opportunity to sample a wide array of spirits.
Keith Nakamura, Head of Marketing at VMSD Pte Ltd, explains the event’s concept: “JIU ASIA’s concept is inspired by our understanding of the regional and contemporary trends. Younger generations are constantly seeking new experiences and expressions, and there is a growing interest in vintage spirits, as people reconnect with their cultural heritage. This trend is exemplified by the rising popularity of traditional Asian beverages such as baijiu, sake, and soju.”
He adds, “With over 30 years of experience as a marketing and events company, JIU ASIA is a testament to our expertise and vision.
This year’s event will feature several highlights, including a premium baijiu masterclass by Jing Tang, rare Moutai bottles and curated masterclasses by industry experts. The inaugural JIU MIX Cocktail Contest, sponsored by Singapore Distillery, will showcase top bartenders and mixologists competing for guest shifts and internship opportunities.
