ASUTIL 2025: Nexus kicks off with welcoming cocktail

ASUTIL Secretary General Carlos Loaiza-Keel addresses the crowd at the opening cocktail in Lima, Peru
ASUTIL 2025: Nexus (June 3-5) is officially underway in Lima, Peru, at the Swissotel Lima. Friends and colleagues from across the globe gathered at the welcoming cocktail to share a toast.
As described by the association, building on the success of its Bogotá conference in 2024, which set a new benchmark for industry engagement and dialogue, Nexus will elevate the experience even further. It aims to symbolize the convergence of innovation, opportunity and collaboration in duty free and travel retail. This year’s conference is taking place against the backdrop of the grand opening of Lima Airport’s new terminal, which started operations on June 1.
According to ASUTIL Secretary General Carlos Loaiza-Keel, the inauguration will be reflected in the content of this year's program, where the airport authorities, Lima Airport Partners and Lagardère Travel Retail all play an important role. “We believe that this type of criteria should also guide us in the selection of future locations,” he stated in an exclusive interview with Global Travel Retail Magazine. See our June 2025 issue for the full interview.
