IAADFS encourages feedback to finalize plans for the 2026 Summit of the Americas

At the closing press conference of the IAADFS Summit of the Americas, it was revealed the total number of attendees consisted of 1,024 (versus 1,209 in 2024). This total is based on the end of day yesterday (Sunday) and can be attributed to the fact that less exhibitors took part this year (50) due to limited spacing.
Although the quality of the conference sessions and high traffic flow on the exhibition floor served as highlights, IAADFS President & CEO Michael Payne noted that he expected a greater uptick in local day pass visitors considering the change in location to Miami. This could lead to a more flexible payment structure in the future.
Between the constraints of the facility (including freight issues) and the change from a weekday format, the association is looking forward to receiving survey feedback to determine plans for 2025.
“We really appreciate the support of our exhibitors, sponsors and attendees because [this event] is an economic engine that the IAADFS uses to fund advocacy work on behalf of the association,” said Steve Antolick.
As announced in 2024, the association is in the gradual process of rebranding with the intent to generate enthusiasm outside strictly the airport business.
