Christoph Stump, Director of Sales Central & Southeast Europe at Gebr. Heinemann has been named to CEETRA's Managing Board

Following a board meeting held on July 13, the Central and Eastern European Travel Retail Association (CEETRA) announced the appointment of Christoph Stump, Director of Sales Central & Southeast Europe, Gebr. Heinemann, as a member of the Board with immediate effect, who is taking over from Benjamin Dillmann.

CEETRA also announced that its next Travel Retail Forum will be held on October 13, 2022 in Budapest, making it the association’s first in-person event since the start of the pandemic. CEETRA represents the travel retail industry toward stakeholders and policy makers in the CEE region and provides opportunity for the trade to meet and exchange best practice.

Heinemann’s Christoph Stump to strengthen regional focus of the association

“I am glad indeed that Christoph is joining our Board. His professional path, as well as deep rooted presence in our region, certainly will enhance achievements of CEETRA’s goals,” says Chairman Andrzej Milaszewicz.

According to Milaszewicz, Stump has worked and lived in Hungary for many years and will bring relevant hands-on experience to the group.

“I am looking forward to continuing Gebr. Heinemann’s commitment on the Managing Board and to further promoting the interests of travel retail in the CEETRA region,” comments Stump.

The Board values the contribution of Benjamin Dillmann (Corporate Affairs Manager, Gebr. Heinemann), who has been instrumental in driving the organization forward over the last years.

“Benjamin was a key member bringing onto the Board his expertise in engagement and communication, but also the passion we needed during the hard times of the pandemic,” adds Milaszewicz.

Key date for travel retail stakeholders in the CEE region

CEETRA will hold its next Travel Retail Forum this fall, bringing its regular members together in Hungary again, following Austria and Poland. A long-awaited chance to network and re-connect, the meeting will be held in-person at the airport’s conference centre, and as in previous meetings is expected to feature insightful and prominent sessions on topics related to the regional challenges in travel retail.
