Cochin International Airport receives award from Airports Council International
Cochin International Airport
Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has won the 'Best Airport in the Asia Pacific Region' award for outstanding passenger experiences under the 5-15 million passenger category. The award is given by Airports Council International (ACI), the global trade representative of the world's airports, based on the annual ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey among passengers.
The award recognizes CIAL's excellence in providing high-quality facilities, services, and overall customer experience. The ASQ survey is the world's leading airport passenger satisfaction program, with nearly 400 participating airports in 95 countries. It collects real-time feedback from travelers, assessing their level of satisfaction during their entire travel experience. It measures 30 performance indicators across key elements of the passenger's airport experience, such as airport access, check-in, security, wayfinding, food and beverage, retail, and more.
S. Suhas, MD of CIAL, said, "We are proud of this achievement, which reflects our commitment to providing the best possible service to our passengers. We thank ACI for this recognition and our passengers for their trust and support."
Alpha Kreol India, the duty free partner of CIAL, also congratulated CIAL for winning the "Best Airport Award." Lal Arakulath, Director of Alpha Kreol India, said, "We are honored to be associated with CIAL, which has set a benchmark for airport excellence in the region. We congratulate CIAL for this well-deserved award and look forward to continuing our fruitful partnership."
