Hasbro Gaming takes over Changi's Terminal 3 departure hall

Hasbro Gaming is rolling into Changi Airport from May 26 to July 16, transforming its Terminal 3 departure hall into a Hall of Games.

According to the company, the Hall of Games will feature larger-than-life “phygital” (physical and digital) versions of beloved games such as Connect 4, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Twister, The Game of Life, and Guess Who?

Travelers can start their journey by striking a pose with Mr. Monopoly and tokens from the classic game. They can navigate the twists and turns of life with a refreshing take on The Game of Life, where visitors buckle into giant versions of the car game pieces and race to collect as many points on screen as possible while avoiding obstacles. Other options include digital versions of Connect 4 and Guess Who?

To enjoy the phygital experiences at the Hall of Games, one free Gamer Pass can be redeemed with a minimum spend of S$50 (US$37) in a single receipt at participating outlets in the public areas of Terminals 1 to 4 (excluding Jewel Changi Airport). An additional free pass can be redeemed with payment by Changi Pay or Mastercard. Alternatively, Gamer Passes can also be purchased at S$5 (US$3.70) each.

“We are thrilled to be partnering Hasbro Gaming to bring the wonder of board games into Changi Airport," said Phau Hui Hoon, General Manager for Landside Concessions at Changi Airport Group. "Just as the airport is a place for friends, family, and people the world over to connect, board games bring everyone together and are precious opportunities to create fun and memorable experiences. We hope this June holiday event will not only rekindle the magic of games for those who grew up with them, but also introduce those who might be new to this world of fun.”

Terminal 3 departure hall’s check-in row 11 features a fantastical world of Chutes and Ladders, and more Hungry Hungry Hippos and a Mega Bounce playground. One Mega Bounce pass can be purchased at S$5 (US$3.70) with every S$50 (US$37) or S$80 for supermarket (US$59) spent in a single receipt at participating outlets in the public areas of Terminals 1 to 4 (excluding Jewel Changi Airport), capped at three passes per receipt. An additional pass can be purchased with payments made by Changi Pay or Mastercard. Direct purchases of passes can be made at S$15 (US$11) each.

If you hit the qualifying spend for the Gamer Pass or Mega Bounce pass, you’ll also be eligible to purchase a Changi-exclusive Hasbro Gaming premium at S$11.90 (US$8.80) each. Purchase up to three premiums per receipt or up the limit and take home all four designs if you pay with Changi Pay or Mastercard. Choose from either a Twister or Cluedo cushion, or sweep up the Monopoly or Connect 4 backpack.

To redeem passes and premiums, visitors can drop by the redemption booths located at the departure hall’s Hall of Games and Hasbro pop-up store located at Basement 2 respectively. The Hasbro pop-up store is packed with familiar favorites like Twister, Jenga and Connect, as well as a wide variety of variations of Monopoly. Transformers fans will be able to purchase toys, figurines, apparel, bags, and more ahead of the highly anticipated feature film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, hitting theaters globally on June 9.
