Every year, Cellar Master Hervé Dantan makes his interpretation of Lanson Rosé, recreating a singular blend based on precise grape selection

Champagne Lanson is showcasing its latest creation, Le Rosé Création 67, at the TFWA World Exhibition 2024. This new multi-vintage brut rosé follows the successful launch of Le Black Création last year. Visitors can experience this light, crisp and floral champagne at the Lanson stand in Blue Village C8.

Le Rosé Création boasts a subtle pink salmon color with delicate bubbles and aromas of raspberry, pomegranate and blood orange. The palate offers mineral crispness alongside notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo. The champagne made its travel retail debut in May 2024 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, exclusively with Lagardère-Extime. A second promotion is scheduled for September 24 to October 21. In 2025, Lanson plans to roll out Le Rosé Création to all its key retail partners with additional activations.

Le Rosé Création complements Lanson’s Le Black Réserve and Le Rosé – both of which continue to be highlighted in global travel retail

Albane Lussat, GTR account manager, states, "Le Rosé Création is the perfect addition to Lanson’s offer for travel retail. We have received enthusiastic feedbacks from the launch in Paris and expect that to continue with the global roll out in 2025. We look forward to introducing Le Rosé Création to our retail partners and the media in Cannes this year – it truly is a delicious Champagne."

Lanson’s history with rosé champagne dates back to 1833, with Le Rosé becoming a permanent fixture in 1952. Current Cellar Master Hervé Dantan has refined the blending process since 2013, using carefully selected grapes, exclusive rosé reserve wines and a precise proportion of red wines from Champagne.

Le Rosé Création stands out for its exclusive use of rosé reserve wines, a unique approach in Champagne. These wines contribute exceptional aromatic depth while maintaining the Lanson style’s elegance, freshness and fruitiness. The 2019 harvest blend consists of 52% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 14% Meunier, with 29% reserve wines and 6.6% red wines. It is aged for three years with a brut dosage of 8g/L.

Lanson continues to promote its Le Black Réserve and Le Rosé lines in global travel retail, with activations planned at London Heathrow T2 and Hamburg Plaza Shop in the coming months.
