Diageo unveils The Singleton’s ‘Gardens of Abundance’ TR-exclusive collection

The Singleton Gardens of Abundance collection will be available from August 2024 in airports including Changi, Delhi, Dubai and Heathrow, with further expansion to more airports in the following months
The Singleton has announced its new travel retail exclusive collection of single malts, called “Gardens of Abundance.” This range features four distinct whiskies: Radiant Spring Garden, Golden Autumn Orchard, Exotic Spice Grove and Deep Forest Riches.
The Gardens of Abundance collection invites whisky lovers to engage their imagination and senses, exploring flavors that showcase top-tier whisky craftsmanship. As Diageo Global Travel’s largest malts launch to date, the collection will be available in airports worldwide this summer, offering whisky explorers a chance to experience the rich and vibrant flavors of these new malts.
Inspired by fertile lands and diverse ecosystems that have nourished both earth and spirit for centuries, these whiskies honor nature’s abundance, with each bottle reflecting the harmony between nature and craftsmanship. The Singleton was the fastest-growing single malt globally in 2023, as reported by IWSR, and has garnered over 30 accolades in the past two years, highlighting its appeal.
Dr. Craig Wilson, The Singleton Master Blender and the collection’s creator, commented: “This is one of the most exciting collections we have ever worked on. They are flavour-first whiskies that let us push the boundaries of our craft. The Singleton team and I are incredibly proud of them and I can’t wait for people to sample and explore.
“Inspired by seasonality, we developed flavours that evoke specific times and places. We focused on environments that inspired emotions and aromas, influencing not only the whisky but also the naming, recipes and wood types used for aging. The first variant, Radiant Spring Garden, reflects the terroir of the distillery and its surroundings. As the collection progresses, it incorporates more exotic influences. The whiskies evolve from light, grassy notes to mature orchards, sweet spice groves and rich forest woodiness.
“Opening a bottle from this range is like stepping into a secret garden, with aromas of blooming flowers, fresh herbs and ripe fruits, promising a unique sensory journey.”
