Loch Lomond unveils single cask bottling exclusive to World Duty Free
From December, 256 bottles of the Single Cask 748 Loch Lomond 2009 edition will be available to purchase at Avolta’s World Duty Free stores in Heathrow, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports
Independent distiller, Loch Lomond Group has partnered with World Duty Free, an Avolta company, to launch an exclusive single cask bottling that is available at select UK stores operated by the retailer.
From December, 256 bottles of the Single Cask 748 Loch Lomond 2009 edition will be available to purchase at Avolta’s World Duty Free stores in Heathrow, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
Priced at £95.99 ($US120), the single malt has an ABV of 58.7% and was aged in a single refill American oak hogshead cask. On the nose, notes of juicy pear and sweet vanilla cream intermingle with fresh apricot and a hint of zesty lemon peel. The whisky offers a taste of candied ginger and toffee apple before a warm oak spiced finish with orange juice.
