Veuve Clicquot celebrates 250 years with sustainable pop-up at CDG
Moët Hennessy Travel Retail and Extime Duty Free Paris are currently hosting a captivating Veuve Clicquot pop-up at Paris CDG 2F in honor of the brand's 250th anniversary. This special activation, which continues until the end of January, marks a continuation of the celebrations that began in June 2023. The pop-up is a testament to Veuve Clicquot's commitment to sustainability, featuring furniture repurposed from the House’s June event, highlighting the brand's dedication to reducing its environmental impact.
The pop-up showcases “The Icons” re-editions, a collection of four of the House's most emblematic items, now redesigned with a sustainable focus. These include the Clicquot Ice Jacket, the Clicquot Ice Box, The Clicquot Arrow and The Clicquot Fridge. A special highlight is the collaboration with Italian artist Paola Paronetto, showcasing La Grande Dame 2015 x Paola Paronetto. This collaboration brings to life six gift boxes inspired by Paronetto's emotive and optimistic color palette, produced sustainably.
In a unique offering, customers at the pop-up can personalize two of The Icons – The Arrow and Ice Jacket – on-site, adding a personal touch to these cherished items. Veuve Clicquot's personalization extends to La Grande Dame, where customers can choose from six different leather charms for bottle personalization. These charms, inspired by the champagne, the Maison's key codes, and the La Grande Dame itself, can be engraved on-site and used as stylish luggage tags.
The three-month pop-up also features a selection of Veuve Clicquot's iconic products, ideal for the year-end holiday season. The Icons, adorned in vibrant yellow and orange, contrast with the cool blues, greens, and lilac of the La Grande Dame section, offering a sensory journey through color and craftsmanship. The experience is further enhanced by a specially curated playlist, available for visitors to enjoy at the activation and extend the experience at home via Spotify.
