Swedish Match underlines snus category with new store concept at Stockholm Arlanda Airport
Swedish Match has unveiled its brand new store concept for travel retail with Dufry at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. This interactive concept offers differentiation, discovery and education to legal age consumers (LAC) in a space where they can immerse themselves in learning about both the brand and the history of snus.
Situated at the opening of the Dufry duty free store, the Swedish Match outlet creates impactful newness for traveling LAC shoppers. The concept is inspired by the brand’s successful domestic stores, and features the full Swedish Match range, as well as an espresso bar and the opportunity for shoppers to sit and relax within the brand environment.
For the airport store, Swedish Match has aligned with Dufry’s local approach, delivering a store which translates the Swedish Match brand experience into the Scandinavian design aesthetic of the airport and its shops.
This unique concept provides a space for Swedish Match to convey its long history in the snus category, which has made it a leading player in markets around the world. LAC travelers can take the opportunity to discover the the brand's full offer.
To create an even more engaging experience, the store will host special events, including Mix Your Own Snus on special occasions, a Mix of the Week and the opportunity to engrave your snus tin with a unique name. All of this is overseen by Swedish Match’s expert ambassadors who are on-hand to support shoppers. To create a fully rounded, cross-category experience, these brand ambassadors are able to assist shoppers in case they have questions on other Philip Morris International tobacco products.
