Henkell Freixenet bags 29 gold medals
Henkell Freixenet was awarded seven gold medals and eight silver medals from Mundus Vini and 22 gold medals from the Berlin Wine Trophy
Wine and spirits group Henkell Freixenet has been awarded a total of 29 gold medals at the spring tastings of Mundus Vini and the Berlin Wine Trophy.
In addition to two Best of Show Grand Gold awards, the company again received the award for Best Sparkling Wine Producer from Mundus Vini.
In total, Henkell Freixenet was awarded seven gold medals and eight silver medals from Mundus Vini and 22 gold medals from the Berlin Wine Trophy.
Among the winners was the Champagne brand Alfred Gratien, which received a gold medal for each of the products submitted.
The Vintage Champagne Alfred Gratien Millesime and Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis received a Grand Gold Medal. In addition, the Champagne brand got a Mundus Vini Best of Show award in the Champagne Vintage category with the Cuvée Paradis.
Germany’s number one premium sparkling wine brand, Fürst von Metternich, was also honored with three golden awards from the Berlin Wine Trophy.
Freixenet Cordon Negro also impressed the expert jury and received not only a gold medal but also the award Best of Show Cava in retail markets from Mundus Vini.
