The store opened in the airport's South Terminal at the end of November in time for the holiday season. The new location is set to become a tranquil shopping space for passengers looking to enhance their travel journey

Rituals, a global luxury and wellbeing beauty brand, is expanding its travel retail presence with a new store at London Gatwick, bringing relaxation to busy travelers with the help of its signature selling experience and luxury home and body collections. The new location is set to become a tranquil shopping space for passengers looking to enhance their travel journey.

The store opened in London Gatwick's South Terminal on November 28, 2024. As the UK's second largest airport with growing passenger numbers, London Gatwick is a strategic site. It is a key hub for holiday travel connecting passengers to Europe and beyond with a growing  list of long-haul services. Driving brand visibility, Rituals will benefit from an even bigger and more diverse customer base.

In line with Rituals' signature 'Feel Good Experience', the new store features the iconic water island where passengers are invited to enjoy the brand's unique and immersive selling ceremony, helping customers to slow down and experience Rituals' products. Trained staff guide shoppers to find their preferred products by sampling various textures and luxurious scents at the water island. Another speciality is the refill cabinet where customers can discover many products and shop their matching refills. For instance, compared to buying a new original body cream, its refill requires 38% less CO₂ equivalent, 33% less materials and 24% less water during the production process.

The store also features one of Rituals' most bespoke collections, the Amsterdam Collection. Developed in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum, the range pays homage to the brand's roots with a blend of fragrant flowers and exotic spices. Featuring Dutch tulips and Japanese yuzu, the collection is a tribute to the intertwined histories between East and West.

With the London Gatwick store opening just in time for the festive season, one of the busiest periods in the travel calendar, it offers passengers a moment of mindfulness and wellbeing, an opportunity for them to purchase products and gifts and enjoy a moment of relaxation during their journey.

Lotte Rozemuller, Director Travel Retail EMEA & Americas at Rituals, said, "We're excited to grow our travel retail presence with our new store at London Gatwick.
