Introducing Tiffany Rose Gold Intense Eau de Parfum
Coty has unveiled a sequel to its Tiffany Rose Gold Eau de Parfum with Rose Gold Intense available now in travel retail in Europe and Asia Pacific.
In 2017, Tiffany & Co. built upon its legacy as an innovator in jewelry with the launch of Tiffany & Co. Eau de Parfum. Four years later, Rose Gold Eau de Parfum, by master perfumer Jérôme Epinette of Robertet, was revealed. Inspired by Tiffany’s diamond cuts and luminous metals, Rose Gold Eau de Parfum is described as “an olfactive showcase of the rare ‘Blue Rose’ accord, a unique, Tiffany Blue-inspired Japanese rose hybrid that lends the delicate floral scent at the heart of the fragrance”. Top notes include fresh blackcurrant, with ambrette seed at the base.
According to Coty, this fall 2023 “opens a new chapter for Rose Gold”. Once again collaborating with Epinette, Tiffany reveals a novel, radiant, but deeper, darker and more opulent sequel to the Rose Gold story: Tiffany & Co. Rose Gold Intense.
“I wanted to maintain the original spirit of Rose Gold and its modern-classic duality, by playing with some of its exquisite key notes, while introducing new ones to evolve the story and take it to a deeper, darker space,” Epinette said.
Rose Gold Intense is a floral chypre gourmand profile unlike any other, differentiated by the ‘Patchouli fraction’, an exceptional quality of Patchouli, exclusive to Robertet. A multi-faceted, modern fragrance, it immerses its wearer in a vibrant world of sparkling citrus and fruits balanced with radiant pink pepper, while at its heart lies a bouquet of jewel-inspired florals – orange flower and jasmine sambac accords, blended with Turkish rose oil and orris butter – each bringing a new dimension to deliver a rich and captivating sophistication.
The base of the fragrance adds a playful complexity, anchored with sustainably sourced patchouli fraction and warm woods paired with addictive pink sugar and a marine accord.
Rose Gold Intense stays true to the DNA of its Rose Gold predecessor, offering “a variation that delivers a dazzling and magnetic twist on the original”. “There is a story about time here,” Epinette added. “Rose Gold Intense tells a tale of love that is as enduring, beautiful and radiant as a Tiffany diamond. In 1868 Tiffany & Co. made luxury available to Americans through its gold fashion jewelry designs and it is this legacy which is visible in the signature, iridescent rose gold glass bottle that houses Rose Gold Intense. The bottle’s silhouette, inspired by Tiffany’s iconic diamond cuts, features intricate facets at its base and shoulders, bringing to life the multifaceted composition of the fragrance – a design that echoes the light and vibrancy of every precious gemstone cut and crafted by Tiffany & Co’s skilled artisans.
The fragrance’s key ingredient notes are also etched on the bottle label, while an elegant metallic gold collar is embellished with the Tiffany & Co. logo. The outer carton has the appearance of having been dipped in a velvety pool of rose gold liquid, with each design element combining to create an “exquisite and opulent fragrance experience for the elegant, sensual, contemporary woman”.
The Rose Gold Intense campaign pays homage to Epinette’s inspirational vision and excellent craftsmanship. The hero visual has the Rose Gold Intense flacon emerging from a pool of molton rose gold, encircled by key ingredient visuals that reflect the same “enriched in gold” concept.
