Rituals solidifies presence in China with CDFG partnership and Haikou store opening
The store concept features four core Rituals collections curated specifically for the Asian market
Rituals Cosmetics has entered into a partnership with China Duty Free Group (CDFG), the largest duty free retailers in China, and also opened its first store at Haikou International Duty Free Complex, the world's largest duty free shopping complex.
The store concept features four core Rituals collections curated specifically for the Asian market - Amsterdam Collection, Private Collection, Classic Home Collection and Signature Collection. The Rituals store opened its doors on August 15, inviting Asian shoppers to discover its brand ethos of soulful living, whilst experiencing the scents, textures, and sights of its collections.
According to the company, though Rituals has previously had a presence in Haikou, this newest store opening marks a new chapter as it places the brand on an extraordinary stage in the world's largest duty free shopping complex. With China's cosmetics retail revenue rising and interest in beauty and wellness growing, it's important for Rituals to bring luxury wellbeing to the Chinese market in a meaningful way, just as they have done in Haikou.
"We are very proud that we are now present in the world's largest duty free mall," said said Raymond Cloosterman, Founder & CEO of Rituals Cosmetics. "Rituals is the fastest growing beauty brand in Europe and our beautiful new store at Haikou airport is an important milestone for us, as we are expanding to Asia. Our innovative concept comes with a fresh perspective on beauty and wellbeing. Our products and stores are elegant and distinctive and with our democratic price points, we can service a new and much bigger audience."
