Lancôme partners with Dubai Duty Free on beauty animation at Dubai Airport
Lancôme's ‘Beauty Tech On The Go’ animation at Dubai Airport
Beauty and fragrance brand Lancôme, part of L’Oréal Groupe, partnered with Dubai Duty Free to bring a beauty tech-driven animation to Dubai Airport that ran until mid-July.
The ‘Beauty Tech On The Go’ animation emphasized the brand’s mission to provide a game-changing and revolutionized beauty experience that allows women to experience beauty tech in a personalized way. It highlighted Lancôme’s latest beauty tech innovations, the Lancôme Skin Screen and Lancôme Shade Finder devices, which were designed to answer the diverse needs of Lancôme’s customers.
The Lancôme Skin Screen is a cutting-edge skin analysis service. This device uses tri-polar light technology, which combines standard visible and cross-polarized light with UV flashes in order to collect skincare information processed by artificial intelligence. It measures 12 clinical skin parameters: texture, redness, spots, visible pores, wrinkles, fine lines, UV damage, hydration, and firmness alongside specific parameters in the delicate eye area. Thanks to the proprietary algorithm it’s able to propose to customers a personalized skincare routine.
The second device is the Lancôme Shade Finder, the brand’s most accurate skin tone analysis device. This device goes beyond analyzing superficial skin color. It assesses skin undertones using a special algorithm that can identify up to 22,000 different skin tones to help customers find their perfect Lancôme foundation shade within the range.
After the consultations, consumers had the opportunity to try the recommended skincare products and experience a quick flash make-up retouch. According to L’Oréal Travel Retail, this animation helped to build Lancôme awareness as a leader in consumer-centric beauty tech innovation.
Lancôme TREMEAI General Manager Cédric Remeur said, “Our aim is to offer customers the best experience and services, showcasing Lancôme’s scientific expertise and values.”
