L’Oréal and Tripadvisor partner to bring beauty to all travelers
L’Oréal and Tripadvisor have signed for a long-term partnership exclusive to travel retail for the beauty category. Called “Beauty for all travelers,” the partnership aims to engage with travelers at every step of their journey.
“The behaviors of consumers have shifted post-covid with clear expectations for experiences products and services. This win-win collaboration between L’Oréal and Tripadvisor is built around digital media activations, a strong data partnership and co-innovation to enrich the traveler experience,” reads the press release.
The two travel industry leaders initially joined forces last year to launch the “Beauty to Go” project, to engage U.S. and U.K. travelers in duty free beauty. The success of this “game changer” project paved the way to this new partnership.
“We are very pleased by the partnership with Tripadvisor. We share the same vision not only to serve the travelers better and create value, but also to explore new ways to engage with them and to increase conversion in duty free stores,” said Vincent Boinay, President of L’Oréal Travel Retail Worldwide.
“We are delighted to continue our collaboration with L’Oréal. Beauty retail is such a core component of traveling, in both the planning and experiencing stages, so this partnership is a natural fit and provides us with the opportunity to truly innovate this space,” said Christine Maguire, Vice President and General Manager, Media at Tripadvisor.
