Pilgrim launches travel retail jewelry collection on board Canada’s BC Ferries

Pilgrim's travel retail jewelry range is now listed with BC Ferries
Danish jewelry and eyewear brand, Pilgrim is launching this month with BC Ferries, one of the world’s largest ferry operators.
Pilgrim’s 2025 travel retail jewelry collection is initially available on board five ferries within the stores’ fashion departments. Priced from CAD20-120, the jewelry will be displayed on Pilgrim’s floor units, using planograms and visual merchandising advice. These units display 300 items per sq meter.
Moving over 22 million commuters and tourists annually, BC Ferries operates 25 routes along the Pacific West Coast of British Columbia, Canada’s most western province. The ferries serve the province’s capital, Victoria at the southern tip of Vancouver Island, as well as many of the most tourist destinations in the world.
Ruth Fox, BC Ferries Assistant Manager - Retail (Buying Manager), said, “Pilgrim brings its unique Scandinavian beauty to our ships and its accessible price point will attract many shoppers to purchase.”
Louise Rohde Pilgrim’s Head of Travel Retail, added, “We are delighted to begin this voyage with BC Ferries and to introduce Pilgrim to their customers. We look forward to our collaboration and extending our presence in Canada at sea, as well as on land.”
Outside Scandinavia, Canada is Pilgrim’s biggest domestic market. The brand is well known and has bespoke stores in central locations in Québec, Toronto, Laval, Brossard and Montréal. Pilgrim is also available at Québec City Jean Lesage, Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Edmonton international airports with Aer Rianta International.
The Pilgrim collection is designed in Denmark and made by hand, heart and mind. Pilgrim is known for its forward-thinking approach to inclusivity, identity and sustainability. Over 70% of its jewelry is made from a minimum of 75% recycled materials.
