The key styles are as follows:
First introduced in the Fall-Winter 2021 eyewear collection, the ‘Dior Signature’ has became one of the Dior Maison’s essentials. Dear to Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Maison’s creative director, the line plays with facets and volumes, giving a playful and modern twist to the elegant bold acetate styles. The Christian Dior signature is inspired by the emblematic Dior Book Tote handbag and is photo-engraved and lacquered on the arms. The front is enriched with golden dots and lines in relief, transitioning to the temples for a high finish look and feel. The elegant ‘Dior Signature’ style, revives the emblematic cat-eye shape.
Debuted during the Dior Men’s Spring-Summer 2022 fashion show, the ‘CD Diamond’ line showcases timeless shapes and colors for an elite allure. Inspired by the Maison’s archives, this style brings back the emblematic CD Diamond signature. In line with the Maison’s attention to detail and its codes of reinventing craftsmanship, the front of the style is bold acetate with sharp angles embellished with CD Diamond pins, while the temples are completed with a metal wire core, engraved with the CD Diamond pattern. Elegant and sophisticated, this classic squared shape gives a vintage feel though its sharp angles and volume thickness.
Inspired by the new it-bag and first launched in FENDI Women’s Eyewear Collection, the men’s Fendigraphy line made its debut at the FENDI Men Fall-Winter 2022 show building on the iconic signatures of the Maison while emphasizing the futuristic and daring vision typical of the FENDI men’s universe. This statement line showcases a refined yet distinctive rectangular shape in bold acetate enriched by signature details. The distinctive temples of the sunglasses are enriched with a super-sized FENDI script crossed by a tone-on-tone matte metal line for an edgy fashion-forward twist. The sleek design combines the cool and creative spirit emblematic of FENDI men’s collections.
The FENDI First eyewear line is constantly reinventing itself. First debuted in the Fall-Winter 2022 fashion show in metal, this new acetate story introduces bold classic sunglasses to the namesake eyewear line, taking its inspiration from the iconic FENDI First bag. This elegant rectangular shape with contrasting oval lenses boasts a signature F logo on the temples and matching gradient lenses.
GIVENCHY GIV CUT
First seen in May 2022 and featured in the men’s Spring-Summer 2023 show, the Giv Cut shape is a true fashion statement that took center stage in the Women’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection. Fully 3D-printed in nylon, this innovative style pushes the boundaries between traditional eyewear craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies. The fashion-forward design showcases dramatic angles and extreme volumes, playfully revealing the G signature in front and on the temples.
LOEWE’s Creative Director Jonathan Anderson continues to explore the idea of elementality, focusing on essential forms and reimagining them with his signature twist. A new take on the timeless cat-eye shape, this bold style has an ultra-flat front with metal embellishments. Part of the Anagram sunglasses family, the model features a logo on the temples and is available in a range of pastel and nature-inspired colorways.
This elegant oval shape in bold acetate is the perfect fusion between modern and vintage inspirations for a confident and chic look. Part of the iconic Triomphe family, this style features a gold Triomphe logo on the temples, dear to the Maison on other categories and launched for the first time on the eyewear collection in the occasion of the Summer 21 show. Adapted from the archives of CELINE by Hedi Slimane, the Triomphe signature symbolizes the chains encircling the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Both neoclassic and elegant, this design is fashioned by its heritage.
