Ray-Ban has highlighted its new ColorBlock Capsule Collection at Zagreb Airport in Croatia.

Targeting the summer crowd, promotions for the special release of the collection started at Zagreb Airport from in July and ran until September. The collection comes in four jewel toned, transparent color combinations and the promotions included eye-catching in-store displays, a Ray-Ban ColorBlock gift bag with purchase, as well as cutting edge digital components. Consumers could scan a QR code on a mirror placed in the middle of the pop-up store, taking them to a selection of social media post worthy special filters.

In addition to its Capsule Collection, Ray-Ban has also launched travel retail exclusive Wayfarer, available in a semi-transparent grey frame with green lenses. Since its initial design in 1952, The Ray-Ban Wayfarer has become the most recognizable style of sunglasses gaining popularity among celebrities, musicians, artists, and those with an impeccable fashion sense.

“The Ray-Ban Wayfarer has become synonymous with summer. In partnering with Lagardère to highlight the ColorBlock Capsule Collection, we aimed to bring the colors, fun and fashion of summer to travelers. Lagardère shares our commitment to the acceleration of the sunglasses category, and we are proud to collaborate with them to take travelers on a physical and digital Ray-Ban journey,” says Matteo Goi, Head of Travel Retail, EssilorLuxottica EMEA.
