Lindt celebrates Year of the Dragon with standout activations
Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with festive animations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Hainan, China.
The eye-catching promotions are supported by an exclusive Chinese New Year sleeve and gifts packs which enhance the gifting offer for shoppers during this key festive period.
Targeting the peak festive travel season in Asia Pacific, Lindt has unveiled promotions in two key locations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, in partnership with Eraman, and one in Haitang Bay, in collaboration with China Duty Free Group.
Comprising of two fixtures, the animation at KLIA2 Arrivals sports a design featuring a dragon ascending the tower of Lindor tubes. The second activation at Kuala Lumpur International Airport is in-store, with a new design that allows better accessibility to Napolitains and Lindor products on display.
Building on the success of the first Chinese New Year activation at Haitang Bay in 2023, Lindt has introduced a second animation that captures shoppers’ attention with its design featuring a large dragon.
Animations at both Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Haitang Bay include a Chinese New Year sleeve developed specifically for the Assorted Napolitains range. The specially designed gift pack, which includes two Lindor 400g tubes in Milk and Assorted flavours, encourages consumers to trade up and makes the perfect gift for festive gatherings.
Peter Zehnder, Head of Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail, commented, “The ‘Delight’ pillar of our category vision refers to the joy that gifting spreads and we hope that these activations, together with the exclusive products on offer, provide shoppers with a strong gifting proposition to indulge in this Chinese New Year. We are committed to driving growth through gifting and look forward to unveiling further compelling animations throughout the year as we strive towards adding confectionery to every basket.”
