Lindt’s eye-catching Diwali activation at Dubai Duty Free

Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail has extended its festive Diwali LINDOR activations to eight airport locations across the Middle East and India this year, bringing the ‘Gift of Bliss’ to even more travellers in the region.

Building on the success of last year’s activations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International and Dubai International airports, Lindt is targeting the Diwali gifting opportunity with LINDOR promotions at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Mumbai), Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), Kempegowda International Airport (Bangalore), Cochin International Airport (Kochi), Muscat International Airport, Hamad International Airport (Doha) and Dubai International Airport.

Bringing the ‘Gift of Bliss’ to traveling consumers during Diwali celebrations

Activations running throughout November highlight the celebratory Diwali offer, focused on one of the most iconic gifts within the Lindt Travel Retail portfolio, LINDOR Tube Milk and Assorted 400g. To strengthen the gifting cues and encourage trade up, a special Trio Bag containing three different flavored tubes has been developed specifically for Diwali.

This program of activity, combined with a strong gifting offer, is expected to see strong double-digit growth in all locations, especially Qatar, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Peter Zehnder, Head of Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail, commented, “The increased Diwali activity this year underlines our goal to offer travelers a compelling offer during important gifting occasions throughout the year. Our luxurious LINDOR brand is hugely popular among Indian consumers and with these additional promotions we have brought the ‘Gift of Bliss’ to an even greater number of consumers at this joyous time.”
