Haribo chews on new travel exclusives
Confectionery brand Haribo unveils additions to its travel-exclusive collection at TFWA World Exhibition in October (stand number: Bay Village 11B).
A fun party mix, described as perfect for sharing, features a stand-up Friends & Party Pouch 649g filled with 44 mini bags of popular sugar products: Goldbears 10g, Happy-Cola 10g, Starmix 25g and Tropifrutti 12g.
The company is also launching its first Haribo liquorice assortment in travel retail. The Liquorice Hunt 335g box combines sweet and salty liquorice with Nappar Lakrits 80g, Matador Mix Dark 80g and Salino 175g.
For young travelers, small games are included on the side of the box.
Since its foundation in 1920, Haribo has been in uninterrupted family ownership by the Riegel family and economically independent of third parties. Haribo is one of the best-known German consumer brands.
Hans Guido Riegel is the third chief in the company’s century-old history. Under his leadership, Haribo has expanded its international presence.
The company manufactures more than 1,000 products at 16 production sites in 10 countries.
In 2016, Haribo opened its first factory outside Europe, in Brazil.
The brand is growing rapidly in North America, where Haribo has been the number one fruit gummy brand since 2018.
To meet high demand in the US, Haribo is building a plant in Wisconsin, scheduled for completion soon.
