About Haribo

Since its foundation in 1920, Haribo has been in uninterrupted family ownership by the Riegel family and economically independent of third parties. Haribo is one of the best-known German consumer brands.

Hans Guido Riegel is the third chief in the company’s century-old history. Under his leadership, Haribo has expanded its international presence.

The company manufactures more than 1,000 products at 16 production sites in 10 countries.

In 2016, Haribo opened its first factory outside Europe, in Brazil.

The brand is growing rapidly in North America, where Haribo has been the number one fruit gummy brand since 2018.

To meet high demand in the US, Haribo is building a plant in Wisconsin, scheduled for completion soon.
